Mpowered has exciting opportunities for you to get involved in the community and support the mission of our organization. We have been changing the financial lives of families and individuals in Colorado for over a decade! Since mpowered was founded we have served over 40,000 families.

If you are passionate about facilitating real change for families and individuals by empowering them to think, act, and feel differently about their money, then mpowered may be the place for you! From time to time, mpowered has employment opportunities in the following areas: client and office support, certified credit counselors, and management. We frequently post open positions on the Colorado Nonprofit Association Job Board.
In addition, we have been very supportive of our local university work study and internship programs over the last several years, and we are actively accepting students for these opportunities.
Volunteer with mpowered
Your time can make a difference! Whether you’re interested in working directly with individuals and families – or assisting in crucial “behind the scenes” tasks – you can be sure that your contribution makes a significant impact on the financial lives of families and individuals in Colorado.
Here are a few of our current volunteer opportunities:
Personal Finance Classes: mpowered provides personal finance classes in the community and mentors families in budgeting and saving. We are always looking for volunteers to support us in these efforts.
Board of Directors: Our Board of Directors consists of 10 -12 volunteer members who make a two-year commitment to support the organization’s mission and vision. Consider joining them in their work to change the face of financial education in our community.
Community Outreach: We are always looking for volunteers to attend outreach events and fairs; spread the word about mpowered to their friends, co-workers and neighbors; and develop relationships with local community groups, employers and institutions to bring clients and donations to mpowered.
Event Assistance: We need many different kinds of help to make our annual fundraiser a success. We look forward to learning what interests and skills you would like to contribute.
Office Volunteer: Are you willing to help with filing, data entry, putting together mailings and answering the phones? This type of assistance is greatly appreciated!
